The multi-media installation Corn Zone was purchased by the Figge Art Museum in 2009. Evidently magic happens when 28 giant glass ears of corn dangle from the rafters.

Corn Zone premiered as part of the exhibition Clear Your Mind: Contemporary Glass Invitational in early 2008 and will again be on display in the Orientation Gallery at the Figge Art Museum from June 16, 2009 until November 15, 2009. www.figgeart.org

Designed and crafted in 1994, Tipping Waves, shown right, was donated in 2008 to the Museum of Arts and Design in New York City along with 30 other goblets. The stylized hand blown, cut, and polished glass vessel is featured along with 100 others in Cheers! A MAD Collection of Goblets bringing together a collection of goblets and chalices in all mediums donated by collectors and artists.

The exhibit celebrates a half-century anniversary and a recent move to the Museum of Arts and Design's spectacularly redesigned and expanded new home at 2 Columbus Circle. Photo: Matthew Joseph Cox
